Each food parcel contains enough food for 3-5 days and includes non-perishable, nutritionally balanced food items.

Referrals

Referrals for Food Support can come from a variety of organisations or professionals.

Examples of referring agencies are:

• Your GP
• Church Minister
• School
• Harrogate Borough Council
• Social Worker
• Health Visitor
• Another charity

These are examples only and not an exhaustive list.

Referrals are accepted Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday between 9.00am – 3.00pm.

Referrals received outside of these times will processed as soon as we can.

However we cannot guarantee an immediate response.

Parcels can be collected on either a Tuesday or Thursday.

We are only able to deliver in exceptional circumstances.

Please note as this is an emergency service, we have a limit of three parcels every six months

This policy is to enable us to reach as many people as possible until other support can be found and established

We can, where there are exceptional circumstances, review this limit.

Donations of food can be left at Ripon Community House Monday to Friday between 9am and 3pm we can only accept donations of dried goods, tinned food and long life milk (no chilled or frozen products)
